Steven sat up in bed, sweat rolling down his face. He checked the clock beside his bed. It was 3am. He cursed the heat, why his parents lived in Utah he would never figure out. He turned and leaned against the wall, only two weeks and then he could go back to college and leave the heat behind.
After sitting in bed for about ten minutes he got up and walked over to his computer and flipped the screen up. The screen lit up displaying a preset message. He swore quietly. The stupid time filter had reset itself. The filter was mandatory for all civilian computers. It basically prevented the computer from turning on during curfew.
